Race skicross with a team behind you

Four racers, one start and a course with jumps and banked turns. We are a team specialising in skicross, based in Cerler and the Alps, and open to athletes from any country.

The sport

What is skicross

First, a solo run against the clock. Then, heats of four racers who start together on a course with jumps, banked turns and rollers: the first two go through to the next round. Each run lasts less than a minute. It has been an Olympic sport since Vancouver 2010.

The start

Half a second's advantage out of the gate can decide the heat.

Reading the course

Knowing where you gain time and where you overtake.

Jumps and features

Getting through them fast without losing speed.

Race decisions

Choosing your line with three other racers alongside.

Contact

Knowing how to race shoulder to shoulder.

Pressure

Many runs in a day, and in every one you're fighting to go through.

A skicross racer takes a banked turn in a low crouch, with fog in the background.

In skicross the fastest doesn't always win: the one who reads the race best does.

How we train it

Two ways to train skicross with R2P

Team racers celebrate a podium on the snow, with medals and a trophy.

Do the season with us

Train and race all year as part of the team, in the group that fits you: U14/U16, Junior FIS or Europa Cup.

The group at a camp poses on the snow under an inflatable arch, skis held high.

Come to a camp

Skicross training blocks open to athletes from any club. You don't need to be on the team.

Not sure which one is for you? Write to us and we'll work it out together.

Build your pathway

In Spain, moving from grassroots to international racing usually depends on each family. At R2P that pathway is already in place, and every athlete joins at the point that suits them.

U14/U16

Technical foundations, skicross and speed, with schoolwork kept up to date.

Team racers pose together in falling snow, with the race flags behind them.

Junior FIS and FIS

A full FIS season: fitness training, training blocks in Europe and international races.

Three racers wearing bibs smile in the start area, with snowy mountains in the background.

Europa Cup

The high-performance group, with its sights set on the European circuit.

Upcoming camps

More days on snow, a skicross course and teammates from other countries.
